It started with a feeling.

The kind you get when you’re pages-deep into a book you can’t put down—the world falls away, time forgets itself, and for a little while, you get to be someone else. That escape, that immersion, that alchemy—I wanted to recreate it in the real world. Something I could return to every day. Something I could wear.

Scent, it turns out, is the quickest way back to memory. To magic. To meaning.

I’ve always believed the best stories stay with you—not just in your head, but in your body. Scripts & Embers came from the urge to make that feeling tangible. To take the ache of a slow-burn romance, the tension of enemies forced to trust each other, the weight of a legacy no one asked for—and turn it into something you could wear. Each scent isn’t just inspired by a book; it’s inspired by how it made me feel. The longing. The dread. The power. These are more than fragrances—they’re fragments of the stories that shaped me, bottled for anyone who’s ever wanted to bring a little fiction into the real world.

This began in 2024, with months of late-night testing, obsessive note-taking, and way too many bottles of fragrance. I launched Scripts & Embers in April 2025 not just to sell a product, but to share the feeling I’d been chasing: that moment when real life fades out, and the story takes over.
